Wendell Harrison, artistic director of Rebirth Inc. is the recipient of the Robert E. McCabe Jazz Guardian Award. The award was presented to Wendell during his performance at the 2024 Detroit Jazz Fesitval by festival director Chris Collins. The award acknowledges Wendell's dedication and life long commitment as a jazz entrepreneur, educator and artist.
